summer lemon basil vinaigrette

  • 2 cups packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1 clove of garlic peeled
  • 1/2 tsp. dried red chili flakes or hot red pepper flakes
  • 3/4 C Extra virgin olive oil
  • juice of two lemons
  • 1 tsp. fine grain sea salt


  • Place all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend for 1 full minute. 
  • Serve immediately. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
